An Artist with Vision and Dedication
If I had to describe Ektoras in one word, it would be dedication. We met in Larissa in 2005 and started photographing together in 2006. Our shared love for photography brought us together, forming the foundation for both our professional paths and our family. Today, we’re partners in life and proud parents of two beautiful daughters.
Ektoras is a tireless creator, always ready to capture the essence of each moment. His instinct for elegance and aesthetics is innate, and his unique ability to blend technical mastery with creativity has made him a standout in the world of wedding photography. In 2011, we founded POV Studio, and since then, we’ve worked side by side, growing not only our partnership but also an exceptional professional collaboration.
Ektoras has photographed portraits of prominent figures, including ministers, actors, singers, journalists, and mayors, establishing his reputation as a leading portrait photographer. His collaboration with GLOW magazine in 2015 further honed his expertise, solidifying his skill in capturing the essence of each subject. In 2017, he launched ektorasnikolakis.gr, focusing on fashion and hotel photography, attracting clients like PwC, Chanel, Aegean Airlines, and Sani Resort, all of whom value his artistic perspective. Ektoras’s work has been featured in magazines such as GLOW, CLOSE-UP, Thea Makedonia Palace, Adore Magazine, Diva’s Wedding, Cozy Fairytale, Hello, and OK magazine.
Though quiet and reserved, Ektoras has a clear vision of what he wants to achieve. With an extraordinary ability to capture the essence of people, he creates images that transcend simple documentation. Christina Rafti is the heart of POV Studio and the driving force behind every project we undertake. As a wedding photographer, she focuses on capturing the most authentic moments, aiming to document events exactly as they happened. Christina firmly believes that “everyone is unique” and continuously discovers fresh ideas that suit each couple, crafting one-of-a-kind narratives through her photography.
Beyond wedding photography, Christina creates promotional videos for various companies, working across fields like fashion, hospitality, and events. As an art director and project manager for fashion shoots, she blends creativity with organizational expertise to ensure the success of every POV Studio project. Her experience in visual storytelling and art direction enriches her wedding photography, allowing her to bring these skills to each wedding session, creating images that are as unique as the couples she photographs.
Christina loves traveling, exploring new places, meeting new people, and forming friendships with individuals from diverse cultures. This passion for human connection shines through in every photo she takes, adding warmth and sincerity to her work.
